If your transformer is 0.4 kV and you need more than 500 kW, we will tell you — at that voltage, a bigger system usually requires a 6 kV step-up transformer. Connection under Sumyoblenergo technical conditions

Any storage above 50 kW must be approved by the DSO. Sumyoblenergo is the distribution system operator for the whole Sumy Oblast, and they issue technical conditions (TU) for connection at 0.4, 6, and 10 kV. We have done this process for clients in the region — it takes 2–4 months, and we handle the paperwork.

The key is to get the TU before you buy equipment. The TU will specify the point of connection, the allowed power flow, and the protection requirements. We design the BESS to match those — no guesswork, no rework.
